COC-Filing for Next SBO, CML to open Next Week

The filing of the Certificate of Candidacy for the next officers of the different Student Body Organizations (SBO) will commence next week, running from May 13 to May 17, 2024.


Subsequently, the different parties will embark on their campaign from May 17 to May 28, culminating in the highly anticipated election on May 29 for the SBOs and May 30 for the CML. The race for the next CML has intensified as aspiring candidates form alliances, promising to serve and lead with pride and honor.


Today, the outgoing CML officers, along with the Election Committee and aspiring candidates for the next term, convened for an orientation and planning session for the upcoming 2024 election at the UC-METC Audio Visual Room.


Campus SAO Director Engr. Vicente Miñoza and CML adviser Dr. Daryl Babatid collaborated to outline the timeline of activities for the forthcoming elections.

Anchor Publication's Inaugural Summit Marks Relaunch with 'LAOM' Magazine Debut and Achievements Celebration

The Anchor Publication, the official student publication of the University of Cebu – Maritime Education and Training Center, held its inaugural Anchor Summit to celebrate the relaunch, revival, achievements, and accomplishments of the organization. A highlight of the event was the launch of Anchor’s newest magazine, “LAOM.” The Summit began with formal opening remarks by Campus Director and Dean of the College of Maritime Education, Capt. Gerry D. Enjambre. “Always remember to maintain your integrity and show students that you are deserving of their trust,” Capt. Enjambre advised the campus scribes.
