In a vibrant display of solidarity and empowerment, the University of Cebu-METC celebrates Women's Month 2024 at the Campus Study Hall. The event, which commenced on March 22, 2024, is themed "Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan!" and is a testament to the pride and honor brought by every woman.
The celebration is a collaborative effort, with the women of the campus taking center stage. They are joined by the chairpersons of every department, the Dean the College of Maritime Education, and Campus Administrators in a united acknowledgment of the leadership, commitment, and power of women not only within the University but also around the world.
"Every day is Women's Day. We celebrate the remarkable strengths, economic involvement, political participation, and leadership of women. We remain steadfast in our commitment to closing the gender gap in our society," remarked Captain Enjambre, the Campus Director and Dean of the College of Maritime Education, in his opening address for the program.
